I got this so that I would not have to use my oven all the time. Great for cooking for one or two. It produces great fries and quickly cook other frozen foods. I also use it for baking fish or chicken, which is much easier and faster than using my oven. I also like that it can toast so that I do not have to an additional appliance on my countertop. UPDATE: On settings like toast the oven is fairly quiet. However, in air fry mode it sounds like a jet taking off. The only appliance I've ever had this loud is a juicer. It's like you're running a vacuum cleaner in the kitchen. I still think it's better than 3 stars because it does a good job cooking and it's easy to use, but holy moly is it loud. Orignal: The complaint we had with our previous air fryer is that it was very complex to use. After turning it on, you would hit a button for "oven", then turn the knob to "toast", press the knob to select, turn it again to set the temp, and again to set time, then press start. *whew*. This one you press toast on the touchscreen and then "start". Awesome! It's also a button push up or down to change how dark you want it. Simple. So why not 5 stars? There are a few things that could make it a lot better. First, the air fry tray is not a wire grate like my last one. It's fairly solid with some holes for heat. You can buy a grate from Cosori. When you cook toast, frozen mini-pizzas or the like, the bottom does not get toasted. My toast from first use was fast and PERFECT, on top. The bottom was like you left it in the toaster for 1/3 the time. I didn't mind, but if you want bottoms toasted you may want to try different settings. It drives my wife crazy. Second is that on a simple setting like "toast" there is no timer countdown. Will it be done in 6 minutes? 1 minute? Like I said, it turned out perfect, but the display just showed the temp and desired toast level. The other annoyance is that when you hit the start button to pause cooking there's no indicator that you've done so. The sound of the oven changes, but there's no visual indicator like a pause light or flashing start button. Finally, the rotissery basket seems like more of a pain than useful. I suspect when I start using it for things like fried veggies and the like it will do a much better job of keeping frying even, but the storage and handling of the cylinder basket seems a bit unnecessary. My last one (the one that died 1 month after its 1 year warranty) had a basket that was more like a tray and it was very convenient. Overall I'm really liking this unit, especially since we got it here on sale for under $100. It's a really good little unit, but it's just a couple of "wants" away from being perfect. ... show more

I am beyond in love with this new appliance! I have used it to air fry numerous times, and several times to bake a casserole and to re-heat food. It works very well and is a breeze to clean. Everything that I have done in it has turned out great! Since I only cook for one, it's the perfect size and takes up much less space on my counter top than my old toaster oven. I considerd purchasing one of the larger models, but am glad I didn't. My experience with my old basket type airfryer was not the best, and I find that I use this and experiment much more. I still use my regular pop-up toaster to do a slice or two of toast, as I'm not crazy about how the Cosori toasts. Other than that, I love it! ... show more

Replaced a competitor that also begins with C but ends with a different letter. In fairness to the competitor, I spent more on this guy and had I purchased a different model, I might have been happier with the Cosori's predecessor. At this point, however, it is water under the toaster oven. I digress. This is a really good toaster oven/air fryer. It gets hot fast, has a powerful fan, and comes with a bingo ball cage that fits into the rotisserie. It does a really nice job as a toaster oven and an air fryer. The pans that come with the unit are non-stick. The control panel is easy to use, and the accompanying instructions can be understood by normal humans for whom English is their first language. Two downsides. The negative of a powerful fan is that the thing it is loud when set on air fry, softer on other settings. However, this is minor. The one thing that really irritated me, and almost resulted in four rather than five stars, is that it does NOT come with a wire rack, which was another 12 dollars. We've had it for a couple of months. If it fails prematurely, I'll amend this review. ... show more

I was surprised at how accurate the temps were. The fan stayed on constantly and the heating elements would cycle on a few degrees lower than the set temp, turning off just before the correct temp was reached. Residual heat in the heating elements would take the internal temp a couple degrees over, then lower until the whole procedure started over. Wow. My cheap leave-in temperature probe matched the Air fryer’s internal probe exactly. Well made overall. The metal is little on the thin side but costs and environmental savings make that a necessity. Very well engineered and manufactured. With care, it should last a decade or two. Fits perfectly in my RV trailer(home away from home). The oven and proofing features are what sold me. As accurate as the temps are, it will undoubtedly be perfect. Undamaged and packaged nicely. Seasoned drumsticks and fries were amazing and soooo simple. My only complaint, as with nearly everything manufactured on our planet, is the industrial strength adhesive used for shipping tape and warning stickers. The stickers were intended to be taken off but were difficult to completely remove, slightly staining the surface. ... show more
