I installed 4 of these as the bikes were being left all over the garage. They hung pretty easily and hold the bikes like they are supposed to. My wife's mountain bike is not a fat tire bike and it's pretty standard by today's mountain bike size go but it's almost too "fat" to get in the hook. Also if your kid is young (say, under 10 years, there's a good chance you, mom or dad, will be hanging their bikes as it's not the easiest task for them littles. Out of all the bike hangers this was the best i found. The swivel feature is certainly a space saver. It's very strong and my bike never moves unless i touch it. It's quite easy to install. I purchased two. One went into studs and the other into drywall (i used more heavy duty clips (you can get from home depot) for the drywall hanger. I do like that they are kind of sleek and look great when a bike is not even on them. I have a pretty large mountain bike so it definitely works for it. I know some reviews said it didn't but you just need to hook it on the wheel spoke first then slide your bike on. The other cruise bike went on much easier as it had thinner tires. The only downside is i will say it's not meant to much with the mountain bike in mind. The bottom piece where you rest the rear wheel on fits the thin cruise bike better. It can if having the bike quickly come out and then you'll have a tire mark on the wall. My recommendation to the manufacturer would be to just make it a bit wider but also more deeper to hold the rear wheel better. Other than that it's perfect ... show more

This product is super nice for 99% of bikes, however if you ride MTB its very plausible that the rim and tire width will create issues. I have Industry Nine wheelset + maxxis DHFs and can just barely squeeze this onto the hook. The real challenge comes when getting the bike back off the hook, increasing in challenge the higher you mount your bike on the wall. There is a super simple solution here, which is pro bike tool make an extra large MTB hook+rod thats interchangeable with the plastic housing and wall bracket. Then this product would be A+++ ... show more

I have to grab the hook at an angle with my 26x2.35 tires, but once they're on it holds up great. Installation is straight forward. Two issues. 1. I had to swivel it all the way to the right to create enough clearance to put the little screws on for the base tire plate. 2. The top screw for the base tire plate is not aligned on both of them, must be a QC or design flaw. The most frustrating is this thing does not swivel to the left with or without load. I have to apply manual pressure on the top of brass pin while forcing the swivel to the left EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's going to get annoying. There are 2 tiny Phillip screws next to the brass pins, I played with them assuming they are there to adjust the sensitivity, it didn't change anything. Overall, they look great. Came with all the tools u need to get it on. I used the packaged hardware. ... show more

    • They work, but they are not perfect
I bought these as a solution to keep my bikes from taking over all my garage space. I liked the fact that they let you turn the bike to the side after you hang it. However, I'm not 100% happy with them for a few reasons: 1) Hanging the bikes is a bit more difficult that it needs to be. I think the design of the hooks could be slightly improved to make the hanging a bit easier 2) The guide at the bottom, which is meant to keep the bike in the correct position doesn't hold the bike well when turning the bike 3) There is no way of locking the bike in the turned position. It would be nice to have something to keep the bike in its right place. Overall, the hooks work, and they did save me some space. If I could design the perfect hook though, this is what I'd like to see: 1) It would be great if the hook could be lowered to make hanging the bike easier, but I imagine that would make the cost much higher 2) It would be great if the hook could be a bit further from the wall, such that when turning the bike, it would be possible to make it more parallel to the wall to use less space 3) It would be great to be able to lock the bike in the turned position Overall, I'm satisfied with the hooks, but they are not the "perfect" solution. ... show more

Lets you easily hang and store your bike in a vertical position, allowing for convenient storage and removal. Can hold a bike up to 30 kg / 66.2 lbs. weight load. Not suitable for deep rimmed wheels where the tire and rim are >3.54 inches/9 cm. Another "downside" if you will, you will wood studs or a masonry wall to drive the five screws in to install the hanger.     • Good concept, needs some work

Lacks sufficient clearance for pedals so bike is not parallel to the wall when swiveled, and swivel is very stiff. This causes the plate that contacts the wheel to give and forces the bike off the track so it’s hanging by the hook. Maybe it’s the size or weight of the bike, but it doesn’t quite work as well as I had hoped. (Triple checked my construction, it’s built as directed.) ... show more
