Came quickly and all in one box. About 80-85 pounds. Assembly took a little time but it was straight forward, had all the hardware and easy to follow instructions. The couch is small love-seat size and the two chairs are comfortable and adult size. I read all the Doom and Gloom reviews but took a chance anyway. Glad I did. Will it withstand a hurricane? No. Will it last 10 years? Again, no. Will it last 5-years? Most likely, unless you abuse it. It's woven plastic on a metal frame. Compare this to sets costing over $1,000 and it is GREAT! Ignore the nay-sayers and buy with confidence if you are looking for inexpensive patio furniture. ... show more

I think this outdoor set is an excellent bargain for the price! It came double boxed, with each piece individually wrapped and protected. All of the parts were there, undamaged, including all of the various nuts, bolts and washers, and the manufacturer even included a packet with extra fastener hardware, which is all but unheard of. Assembly instructions are diagrams, but the diagrams have the parts code from the materials list to aid with assembly and it's pretty much a no-brainer, anyway...shortest bolts are for the table brace, medium bolts go in the threaded receptacles on all four pieces, and the long bolts are for the seats where they fasten to the arms on the chairs and sofa. Assembly time was acceptable, but it will take two people; one with small enough hands to get the washers and nuts on the ends of the longer bolts where the seats fasten to the arms. I would estimate 60-90 minutes depending upon how proficient you are with hand tools and the tools you have at hand. If you have to use the included tools, figure on at least 90 minutes and you may want to have minor children leave the immediate area to prevent them from learning curse words at an early age. We saw no defects in the "wicker" or cushions, and water does bead on the fabric, at least for the time being. While the furniture does run on the small side, I am over six feet tall, weigh 235, and I fit comfortably in the chairs albeit with no room to spare, and my wife and I can sit side by side on the sofa without feeling cramped...no room to sprawl, but not cramped. The furniture backs are angled and the wicker flexible enough to be comfortable without cushions, and there wouldn't be room for them, anyway. The dark brown wicker does get hot in the sun, particularly on bare skin, so plan on using your towel if poolside. Since this set is going to live outside in the coastal Mississippi weather, we really don't expect to get more than a couple of year's use out of it before ozone, heat, moisture, salt air, mildew and mold do there things, so the price point was right, and I did not honestly expect the product quality we received. Minus one star because assembly really does need two people and takes an hour, minimum. Recommended though, because of the quality and price point. ... show more

It was time consuming, but assembly was pretty easy and laid out pretty well. I would say to get yourself a good adjustable screw driver. While the furniture was good, the tools provided with it were not. I have never been more grateful to my screw driver with replacement heads before. Once assembled, it is pretty comfortable and holds together nicely. I was worried it would be cheap quality due to the price compared to other sets, but to my surprise, it is exactly what I was looking for ... show more

My overall rating is 3 stars. Here’s why: The good: The pieces arrived in good shape, complete with all the hardware and two assembly tools (discussed later). The assembly directions are clear and complete. The structural pieces look well put together although the durability is suspect by other people’s comments. The bad: After assembling the first chair my wife and I noticed that the chair is not made for adults. The chair seat is 13-1/8” high above the floor. With the cushion, the seat is 15 “. Typical adult chairs have seats 17 to 18” high. Worse, the seat backs are too low thus there is no back support. Same issues with the sofa. The cushions are cheap foam. Our initial reaction was to send the unit back and ask for a refund. But, all the pieces were removed from the packing and to reassemble the pieces into the delivery box would have been troublesome. Also, I did not want to dissemble the completed chair after the difficulty of getting it assembled. Later we decided to keep the table and to give the chairs and sofa away to a homeless shelter. The kit comes with two tools: a small wrench and a 4 mm allen wrench, necessary for inserting the metric screws. Tight spaces make the assembly difficult and I found it necessary to use a ratcheting #10 wrench to get the M6 nuts tightened. The screws require an allen wrench and the wrench is difficult to keep into the screws while working in the tight spaces. Phillips head screws would have been strongly preferred. ... show more

My husband and I love this patio set, we paired it with a bar wicker set also back during Christmas when we were hosting and we love it. It is pretty comfortable, the pads aren't the biggest cushions but they are still comfortable. The glass came in intact and works well. It seems well made. We do not have it in direct sunlight, so hopefully it last a long time. ... show more
