    • The sound bar is REALLY Good! However......
LOVED THE PRICE POINT AND REVIEWS OF THIS UNIT, so I took a chance. Out of the box, the sound bar, surround speakers and sub look incredibly chic and is EXTREMELY simple to connect and utilize. Remote is pretty cool, and simple to use. I have been able to “Bluetooth” pair several devices to it, which is cool for utilizing the in home amazon music network that we have established and use DAILY. ******Here is where the issue lies****** Now mind you it could be user error 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️, however I am pretty tech savvy, or at least good with directions 😅😉) And for the life of me, I CANNOT get the sub (that has the surround speakers connected to it (via cables)) to pair. I have FOLLOWED the directions to a “T”. Went so far as to do a soft reset, disconnected EVERYTHING, started over, tried googling trouble shooting, used the troubleshooting feature in the Vivió SmartCast app, uninstalled, reinstalled, tried several different WiFi and Bluetooth modes, and FOR THE LIFE OF ME, I am unable to get the sub and surround speakers to pair with the sound bar (or any other Bluetooth device for that matter). ••I realize this is a review, however, if you’ve got the “magic fix” to my issue, PLEASE let me know. Lol•• If I can get this thing functional, I will update the reviews, if not, sadly I will have to return. 😢 ... show more

Have this connected to the HDMI ARC and it loses connection every time the TV is turned off so have to set it back up each time . The remote control works when it wants to . They got me on this one . Too much trouble to send back

It was set up in minutes. The sound helps me be able to understand speech on TV so much more than the flat TV speaker. Good value for the price.

The bar cuts off whenever it wants to. Can't get the sub woofer to with the soundbar. Over all this deal was a bust.

    • Has issues you could live with but why should you?
For the money, this system sounds decent... for about 2-3 weeks. After working great for a couple weeks, the bar suddenly wouldn’t turn on. Since my return period expired with Amazon, I had to call Vizio directly to arrange a return. They had me first run through a sequence of unplugging it, holding the power button for about 5-10 seconds to “discharge the capacitors” and plugging it back in. Suddenly it came back on and was working great again. The fact they have this sequence in their troubleshooting manuals and know to recommend this before issuing returns means they know this is a widespread issue. After a few weeks of working fine, the volume starting acting up where there was an odd bassy rumble with all dialogue and I had to nearly double the normal volume to hear. After suffering through this for about a week, I tried the old “discharge the capacitors” trick and the rumble went away and volume was back to normal. My bar is mounted to the wall so it’s a pain to take down once a month. If you plan to place it on a tv stand, resetting it is annoying but shouldn’t be too difficult but I’d have to not recommend this system if you’re planning to wall mount it. Again, Vizio seems to know this is an issue so know this before purchasing. ... show more

    • Great soundbar, but it keeps getting locked up by my Harmony Companion remote...
I've only had this for two days, but that was long enough to find out that the sound quality is on a par with systems costing well over $1,000. I listened to YouTube music videos to get a feel for the sound, and what I heard was excellent reproduction. (I did play around with the different speaker and Surround controls to fine tune it, but it wasn't that far off optimum to start with) The only caveat I have is that I've had a lot of issues trying to add it into my Harmony Companion remote software. When I tried to run different activities with it as the sound source, it would keep locking up hard - I would have to remove power from the system for at least 15 seconds to get it to work again. I finally figured out that I needed to add a time delay into the startup process in order for the sound bar to be ready to read the input audio. It is working, but still a little half-=assed. Not the sound bar's fault, though - when it isn't locked up by outside software, it works like a champ. If you are looking for solid performance that won't empty your wallet, I recommend checking into the renewed version of this sound bar from Amazon. $200 out the door, and that included a 3 year warranty.
