I could not be more frustrated and disappointed. I've had the product just a few months and it is already broken - relegating it to a "normal," non-standing desk. Buyer beware. Roughly a 3-4 months into owning the desk, I'd notice that it would randomly stop raising/lowering. I was able to "reset" it by unplugging and re-plugging in the AC cables (this should have been a warning sign!) Then, this week the desk simply stopped working all together. No longer raising at all. Pushing the "up button" delivers no indication that any power is being delivered to the part of the device that raises the desk. Spending more than $200 on a desk, I had much higher expectations - especially given reviews. To have a bricked desk less than six months into owning it is BEYOND frustrating. Clearly questioning the quality of the part and would encourage anyone considering the desk to use caution. To date, have not heard from the company and whether they will remediate. The media could not be loaded. Just after 3 days of use the desk stop working properly. Does not go up only goes down. I’ve called twice and emailed flexispot this same video per their request to get help and resolve the problem and haven’t even got a response back, it’s been well over a week now.     • Fantastic desk. HORRIBLE assembly instructions.

I needed a new desk for work from home and based on extreme happiness a previous Flexispot product (Flexispot Stand Up Desk Converter 28 Inches), I decided to go with the company again for this desk. I soon regretted that decision. Summary: Don't buy this desk unless you can get someone else to assemble it for you. Worst instructions I've seen for 20 years. Very sad. Flexispot needs to hire a technical writer to fix the assembly instructions for this otherwise excellent desk. The good news is this desk is fantastic once you finally get it assembled. The thing is rock solid. I swear it would lift a bus if I could get the bus on top of the desk. And the table top, which ships separate from the base, was packed with more care than any product I've ever received. Well done on that Flexispot! I've assembled hundreds of things in my life. I know how to use tools. I am not squeamish about putting thing together. But assembling this was horrible . . . Unclear instructions. Misleading pictures. Hard to follow numbering of parts. A few odd sentences (as if a non-English person did the writing). An adapter bracket with holes in the wrong place. Some important tips that would have saved redoing a couple of things. Etc. If I needed another desk, I would not buy this again unless someone else assembles it for me in another room where I don't have to hear them cussing. Otherwise, I recommend looking for a similar product from another manufacturer. If you can't find one, I would gladly buy a simple, but rock solid stationary work table, then buy a Flexispot Stand Up Desk Converter to handle the stand up desk part. Same stand up desk concept without the assembly nightmare. The Flexispot Stand Up Desk Converter is excellent and zero assembly required. It is less expensive and is better than a Varidesk in my experience. Definitely feels safer raising and lowering. And I've had two monitors on it and it doesn't break a sweat. Examples of what I mean by Ideas for "a simple but rock solid stationary work table" . . . 1) Search for ASIN "B0799F6V1L" - This desk from Eureka is fantastic and zero assembly. Highly recommended! 2) Search for ASIN "B07TQL79YG" - I came close to buying this Goplus Adjustable Workbench. It looks solid. 3) Search for ASIN "B07MB1WNQQ" - This Coleshome Computer Desk made my shortlist, too. Anyway, just sharing my experience! ——— 1/2/2021 Update: I still like this desk a lot, and am extremely glad to have it. I would happily buy another one of these once the assembly instructions are improved. Meanwhile, if we need another sit-stand desk and the easier-to-assemble alternatives are out of stock, I like the quality and stability of this one enough that I’d likely buy it again and endure the painful assembly. experience! ——— 1/11/2021 Update: At this time it saddens me to report I have received NUMEROUS requests by the seller asking me to remove my negative review in exchange for $35. This desk has completely transformed my home workspace! I couldn't be happier with it. I've been teaching second grade from my home office since last March, and ten months in this space made it clear that my old desk, although stylish mid-century modern, left me feeling chained to my desk chair. I'm used to moving around all day working with children, so shifting to sitting for 10-12 or even 14 hour days has been extremely demotivating. With the Flexispot Electric Adjustable Height Desk, I can easily shift from sitting to standing and even dancing along with my second-graders at the push of a button! In addition to my teaching career, I run a YouTube channel, which adds to my hours at the desk. Having the ability to stand up, stretch my legs, and continue plowing through my to-do list has reenergized me for the new year. This desk is fairly simple to put together - to be honest I had to call in my fiancé to help with the wires to make sure I got it right - and once installed it worked like magic. It's incredibly sturdy, has little adjustable feet on the legs so you can ensure it is level, even with the front feet on carpet and back feet on floor. The only thing that could possible make this desk any better is a small drawer, but honestly, a little basket atop my printer holds my essentials and I find I don't even miss the clutter trap that was my lap drawer in my previous desk. The media could not be loaded. I've been working from home since March 2020 and i have a L-shape desk for my laptop and my dual monitors. It's a great setup and i can efficiently work with my dual screens, however, since I've been working at home and the pandemic, I've gotten lazier and doesn't get out of the house much which made me gained some weights. So getting this height adjustable desk was what i really needed... At first, i thought putting it together would be mor complicated, however, the manual instruction has a very clear step by steps with pictures to illustrate and all the parts after labeled carefully, which helped make it pretty easy to assemble. The motor on the desk works really well, it rolls up and down very smoothly and not much noise during its operation. Also comes with some nice velcro cable tiev to help keep the controls and power cord organized underneath the desk. The desk's surface is matted and very sturdy. The whole desk's frame is thick and heavy too, thus it feels very stable and solid. Great desk to have. ... show more
