I was looking for an inexpensive recliner since I have two cats that are not declawed and no matter what I do to try to protect furniture, they manage to at the very least to do some damage with their claws, even furniture that I've covered with slipcovers and EVEN furniture that I've put double sided tape on and/or plastic furniture guards. They somehow manage to get their claws into the furniture. So, when I was looking for a recliner, I wasn't especially looking for one that had a synthetic leather as they can damage that as well. I had actually ordered a couple of other pieces of furniture, one from Amazon and one from another company that were so uncomfortable to sit on that I returned them and kept looking. The reviews were pretty good for the Homall recliner so I decided to try one but honestly didn't have much hope for it being very comfortable. I was completely surprised! While the recliner is not a luxury chair that you'll sink into and feel like you're in a soft cocoon, it is actually quite comfortable. I recently was very sick with Covid and spent quite a bit of time in the chair. The only comfort related issue I have with the chair is that while reclining, the lower part of the chair that holds your legs is a bit hard and can feel a bit uncomfortable if your legs are in one place too long. I thought the chair, for the price of about $150 was such a great bargain for my needs that I ordered a second recliner of the same so that I have one in my bedroom and one in the living room. They are not bad looking at all, and they are very easy to assemble. I'm a smaller woman in my 60's in good shape and had no problem at all. Now, if I didn't have cats I would have spent more money on a chair that I know would last for years and had more padding on the legs. I don't know how well the recliners will hold up over time but they aren't going to be subjected to rough use so hopefully they will hold up for a few years. The size of the recliners is perfect for a smaller apartment and people who aren't very tall and/or very heavy. I can see how someone who is over 6 feet tall or someone who may need a wider seat with more support may not be the most comfortable in the chair as the recliner is on the smaller side. It also sits lower to the ground than some, but it's perfect for me at 5'4". Overall, I'm happy with the recliners. They arrived on time with no damage. ... show more

Chair came packaged well and is very nice. It is on the smaller side but very comfortable. One problem is the gray pu leather that is in the picture is much lighter than the gray pu leather that actually was on the product. It is more charcoal grey and the picture was more of a light a cloudy sky grey. I do like the color. Also, be aware that the chair must be set well away from the wall for reclining. It has no wall away configuration: At least 18 inches. It is very light and will easily slide on a hard floor as needed. Good value for price. ... show more

I bought this for my Elderly Dad. Who said he did not want or need it. It’s now his favorite place to sit. It is easy to push back to recline it and easy to put back to a sitting up position. No handle, no button to push to recline. (Just a FYI, on the push button style reclinerit’s very hard to push the leg support back down, unless it’s electric) I think all chairs that look like this, are the same size. It is the perfect size for me because I am short. Dad is taller so someone made his chair it a little taller. They cut two pieces of 3” x 3” boards (about 24” long?) and put under each side of his chair. They cut two circle holes in each one about 1” deep so the legs of the chair will stay secure on the boards. That worked great. Overall good, very easy assembly, not too heavy, and reclining mechanism works as intended as of the first few days. The only complaint is that the inner side of the armrest doesn't really have cushioning, so if you have your legs crossed pushing into the armrest it won't be pleasant.

This chair is a temporary replacement for a larger recliner (mechanism malfuntioning) --- this chair doesn't compare to the broken one BUT the seat and back cushions are surprisingly comfortable --- arms are a bit stiff. PU leather feel nice to touch. ...recommend to buy.
