Had to replace a Swingline electric stapler that came defective right out of the box. Saw the reviews and decided to give the BOSTITCH Impulse 45 Sheet Electric Stapler a try. I wanted it loud enough to shock an old person out of their midday office nap. I wanted it so loud, that anyone hearing it immediately would think to themselves, "This inconsiderate obnoxious monster doesn't care about anything but himself. We need more of that around here. I bet his wife and or husband is thoroughly satisfied on a nightly basis, and would be a fool to leave them for some bald homewrecker. Once I take my heart medication, get back from the hospital, change my eating habits, and update my living will, I'm giving them a promotion." Now, I haven't tested it's 45 sheet claim, but it sounds like a tiny cannon so I imagine it'd have no problem getting the job done. Its that loud. Its almost suspiciously loud 😑 Like it already got a dinner and a movie, and got brought home, so who's the show for? Is it for him? Is he in the house?! Was he here before me?! In our bed! I don't know why I waited so long to buy an automatic stapler, but I finally did it and it's the best office product purchase of 2022. It suctions to the table with great octopus strength and I just pop the stack of papers in, and it makes a loud bang and those papers are together and not coming apart. I’ve been through 3 automatic staplers in the last three years, this one is the best by far, not very loud, works on two sheets as well as it does on 35 sheets, staples never stick out and stab you. Worth every penny, 5 stars

I bought this 10 months ago and use it religiously. I am a teacher and with my arthritis getting worse and worse, I found it difficult to use a handheld stapler. This was the perfect solution.
